| | Located just 2 1/2 miles north of Mayodan, Farris Memorial Park spans more
than 269 acres. The land was donated in 1976 by Mamie and Auburn Farris in
memory of their two sons, Jim and Jack Farris. Now owned by the
Town of Mayodan,
the park is managed by the Madison-Mayodan Recreation Department.
The chart below lists the various amenities at the park. Special programs also
are planned each year.

Reservations are taken at the Madison-Mayodan Recreation Department only.

rental agreement form must be completed.
Payment is required with reservation. Reservations are made on a first-come,
first-served basis.

older must have a NC Fishing License regardless of bait type.

from the bank only.

wading in the lake.

checked out by staff.

rules and regulations set by the Mayodan Town Council

In order to use the Skatepark Facility at Farris Memorial Park, you must follow these steps:

Fill out the registration form at the Madison-Mayodan Recreation Center

Complete Hold Harmless Agreement and have it notorized at Madison or Mayodan Town Hall or Mayodan Police Dept.

Buy a Pass from the Madison-Mayodan Rec. Center
